Last Friday Jackie & I took a free-style neck-strap class where we needed to design first one side around our pendant of choice and then the other side. Well, guess who didn't bring their pendant but I knew I was going to use one from one of previous copper classes but that was of no use that day since I didn't have it. Jackie was kind enough to give me one of hers that was perfect which came from the perfect girl!
We were supposed to have each segment tell a story - well, I can tell you any story you want to hear! When we finished one side, we could do the other side the same or different and mine was a little of the same and a little different. This class was fun and I am sure it will help me in the future in designing a neck-strap instead of what I sometimes do now which is find a bead cord that matches the pendant or just string beads with maybe a crystal!
The outside neck strap is the one I recently made and the one in the middle is one I could also wear to give it a layered look!
Yes, I know my picture is sideways - what else do you expect from me?
Let's hear the story...and I don't want you just makin' somethin' up! :-)
ReplyDeleteNice necklace, Chica!
I really learned a lot in that class, and now I hope I don't just throw a pendant on a premade chain or strap anymore either!
ReplyDeleteI have gotten a few comments on my necklace, people really notice stuff when it is not just hanging on a plain chain!! Good job on your necklace!! I love your stories they are funny!!
