She left on a jet plane!

Yes, Kim left yesterday for home after 6 weeks with her sister and brother-in-law! We had so much fun despite her illness and I actually cried when I took her to the airport 'cause we are so close - we two could live together because we have the same interests!

Carla stopped over Friday night to say goodbye and then I took pictures of Kim's room while packing, after packing and getting beautiful!

Not such a happy story when she got home but don't want to put that on my blog!

More Pictures from My Birthday Lunch with Cory!

Since I couldn't figure out how to transfer my photos from my camera to the laptop 'til today, here are some pictures from my birthday lunch at Kung Fu (how original) with Dick, Cory, sister Kim and me.

They served so much food and the only thing I didn't like was the green curry dish since I no longer care for Curry and I used to love it when we lived in Pittsburgh - guess I just had it too often! The others said it was delicious!

I'm Back!!!

I'm back because before today I couldn't figure how to hook the printer up to the laptop since Cory changed it all around and he did show me how to do it for transferring pictures but do you think I remembered - "NO" - I do have some blonde in my hair!

Saturday, April 9, our friends from DC, Cheryl and Stan, were here for one afternoon and one evening - we have known them since 1974 when we lived in Charlotte, NC and Dick & Stan worked together in management at Eastern Air Lines and Cheryl & I worked together at a travel agency and we have remained friends since! When I was working at the Stardust and traveling, I used to go to DC once a year and had an opportunity to go out on the Chesapeake in their Yacht (they call it a boat and I call it a yacht) and then we would "yacht" over to Annapolis - what fun!

The evening went way too fast but we had a great visit!

I also added a picture of my sister, Kim, from that evening!

Belated Happy Birthday to Me!

It's been a while since I posted to my blog so I'm only a week and a day late in posting this!

I had a wonderful 66th birthday lunch with many of my Jewelry Making Chicas and then the day before my birthday, Cory took us to a Thai Restaurant (Kung Fo) for lunch!

I love all of my gifts and do appreciate receiving all of them - you are all so creative!

Now let's hope that the time goes slower 'til my 67th - I will enjoy all of your birthdays!!!

This was a picture from my 65th birthday since I didn't take my camera this year!
